Washing machine – bought and installed with tenant

Our Member needed a new washer/dryer installed at their buy to let property. Rather than using up our client’s valuable time, we bought the best value machine within their budget, liaised with the tenant and had it installed at their convenience. We just kept our client informed by email upon selecting the machine, the delivery date and when installed.

 

Executive Assistant

Business person is busy running his fledgling company so we act support by making sure the operations run smoothly. Most importantly this is by sending and chasing invoices but also we arrange and confirm meetings and generally manage the diary, liaise with clients, research new markets, organise presentations and reports, book transport, arrange meeting venues and anything else needed on a daily basis.

 

Home Cleaning

Our members were looking for a new housekeeper to run their very busy household. Once we knew the criteria, we handled the advertising response, screened the applicants, arranged interviews and co-ordinated this with our clients time table. Once the perfect housekeeper was chosen, we gave feedback to the runners-up and sent thank you letters to all the other applicants before requesting references for the newly appointed candidate. 

 

Research

We’ve researched new markets for many of our member clients. Once we have the specification, we research various internet sites and use our knowledge to gather the required information. We then present it in a format to suit the client, checking this with them by just forwarding some of the research initially.

Executive Assistant

Our Gold Miss Jones member has a very busy schedule and doesn’t have the time to organise invoices to the clients for whom she trains. We not only raise and chase for the invoices but also organise all of her travel and transport needs, both in the UK and abroad.

Event Planning

 Summer Garden Party for 75

Planning a Garden Party is never a safe bet with the UK weather so we had to make contingency plans when planning a Birthday party for a special little girl.

We organised large enough marquees to house everyone should the weather turn along with some tables and chairs.

Having decided on a music theme, this was followed through around the garden, the table centre pieces and cak, as well as continuing into the house for people to pass in the hallway. Catering was organised together with a chocolate fountain and drinks.

To keep our client in the picture, we sent them an updated ‘Event Planner’ each week showing what we had done for each feature, who we bought it from together with their contact details and which suppliers were still to be paid.

Of course, the day before the big event we checked the weather forecast to be beautifully sunny so the day turned into an even more memorable one.

 

 

Home Emergency

Our Member had a problem with their heating and hot water in their buy to let property. We liaised with the tenant, organised an emergency plumber to visit that day. However, we know that other emergencies do arise, so we tracked the plumber every 2 hours until he arrived at the house.

Only after we had confirmed with the tenant that they were happy with the repair and hot water and heating had resumed, did we email our client to confirm the task had been accomplished, leaving them free to concentrate on their own work.

 

Administration

 

Our client had written a fantastic children’s book but the PC he had it saved on corrupted. Luckily, he had most if it handwritten so it was our great pleasure to type and proof read it and save a copy on CD for him. We have also kept a back-up on our files in case he needs it in the future.
